Amidst life’s constant curveballs and challenges over the past 5 years I was able to do one of my favorite things in the world, make a record. Countless hours of composing, arranging, producing and engineering the many instruments on this record was not so easy, but rewarding. After traveling to West Africa to study the kora, a 21 string harp-lute and then to southern Spain to study flamenco guitar, I was blown away by varying styles and instruments I was exposed to and hoped to create my own unique sound. Written from a place of excitement from learning music around the world and being exposed to love through the playing and enjoying of music, I envisioned a world of coming together by bringing together many styles and instruments from around the world to somehow uplift our consciousness together. ‘Air Plain’ is a journey to a place that of a higher consciousness than where we often exist on our Earth plane. The journey is to a plane of existence more like air, where things like thoughts, emotions, music and our hearts and consciousness exist and communicate. In the making of this I received the help of musicians, artists, and technicians which provided a huge boost to its overall professional quality and artistic value, of which I am grateful. Before I move on from promoting the record as we transition our efforts and promotion to live shows, I want to say thank you to those who helped make it happen and thanks to those who have given me encouraging feedback and praise. We haven’t sold nearly enough copies to break even yet, but thats okay as we are just starting out, but I hope that you contribute $10 by buying the record on iTunes or CDBaby today. We have our first show in LA planned, and are getting radio airplay in US, New Zealand, and Spain barely a month away from its release, and we are excited about getting our message and music out.
