Overjoyed beyond words at the beginning of relief of my neck pain.

I have had chronic neck pain for 6 years since the day me and my family were all hit from behind on a freeway. Our necks were not made to be able to withstand car crashes, and my neck has gone through three of them, all of which could have taken my life. I am incredibly grateful each day for the chance to breathe and live. My neck was doing better until my hand and forearm surgery a year and a half ago took away my strengthening activities, then it took an even worse turn three months ago after being hit by a drunk driver a week before moving to LA, giving me a repeat concussion and repeat neck trauma.

Point is, thanks to Richard Smith, a renown professor at USC’s Thorton School of Music, I have gotten in contact with a masseuse from China who does acupressure. I have always been hip and in awe to the immense benefits and age old wisdom of Chinese medicine, most specifically, acupuncture, which has proven absolutely incredible for me and my family for dealing with practically any and all internal issues in the body. However, I had never before received acupressure, which is generally beneficial at dealing with skeletal and muscular issues more on the surface.

Wow, just after one therapy session I feel so much relief. To live without pain is a true joy. There is still some pain, but it has been dramatically reduced. I can much better concentrate on my studies and music at USC since two days ago when I received my first hour treatment. If you are in doubt of the wonders of acupuncture or acupressure, please don’t be anymore. Trust your friend Mitch.

Some of my friends have called me Dr. Mitch in the past because of my non-academic yet still extensive research in health, and, most importantly, personal experience on everything from hand, brain, voice, shoulder, and neck health, to mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I’ve tried countless remedies on all fronts, including countless hours of massage, exercise, chiropractor adjustments, craniosacral, physical therapy, medication, meditation (huge help), breathing exercises, posture, supplements, and dietary adjustments, and I’m a pretty good case-study for what has worked with pain. If you have questions on any of these I’d be happy to share some of my experiences of what has worked and what hasn’t for me, just ask. My message sums up to this; if you have neck, back, shoulder pain, or headaches, give acupressure a try.
