With hand issues from two long ulnar bones (common in tall people), I’ve had one surgery to shorten my bone on my right wrist and forearm, and a possibility of another one on my other wrist hanging over my head. This being said, circulation is crucial to keeping blood moving to my hands. Being unable to run since my concussion, I’ve been challenged thinking of ways to stand up. Seems silly, when all you need to do to solve that issue is simply stand up.. Yesterday, I put my laptop on my piano bench on top of my desk, a self-constructed ‘standing desk’. I felt more productive, more energy, and could feel better circulation throughout my hands all day. Research proves; standing most of the day is healthier than sitting most of the day. Check it out.
